Many Apple users in Europe are reporting problems accessing Siri today. The problems seem to have started several hours ago, with Siri seemingly completely down in many areas of the world. In the United States, however, Siri remains functional.
According to reports on Twitter, Siri is offline for users in countries such as Portugal, the Netherlands, France, Germany and more. The problems affect not only iPhone, iPad and Mac devices, but also HomePod. In the affected countries, Siri does not seem to show any kind of error message, but does not respond to commands and questions.
Siri in the United States seems not to be affected by this interruption. Apple has not yet updated its system status webpage to recognize any type of Siri outage, and the site continues to indicate that all services are functioning normally. However, the System Status page is not always the most reliable source of Apple server problems.
The interruption of the Siri service in Europe today follows a widespread interruption of iCloud last week, which saw how photos, iWork, Find My Friends and many more were disconnected for users.
